I tend to use the Key on most bikes but the MT has a dual start/kill switch so it is mostly how I stop it as it's never actually off........ unlike the Kill switch on every other bike I've owned...... never had a button though.....
Ok, I confess.......

Almost a wine chiller story .............
Mate of mine asked me to add a double socket in his kitchen as he'd bought a new American style (bloody big) fridge and the power lead was too short . Went to the wholesalers and bought socket , back-box and cable etc. , arrived at his house and pulled the fridge out to see where I could put the new socket ...........

Cut the cable-tie that was being used to coil the power lead up and plugged the fridge in to the original socket !
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

I could write books about that sort of thing !!!!...... For example, We ordered a stainless Steel Sink, not a Blue one.... " Well if you peel of the blue protective film, you'll find it" or ...our Solid Wood doors have brown marks in different places..... "They are called Knott
s, they are natural on solid wood" well my B&Q kitchen didn't have them !!! There are many more....
Ok, I confess.......

I don't miss customers. They were good for a laugh sometimes, but years in the garage trade gave me the chance to dealwith some real dumbos.
"You serviced my car last week and now it's got a puncture! I think you should give my money back." I'm pretty sure she didn't believe that it wasn't our fault.
However, they are preferable to the occasional NHS consultants who have God Syndrome and have forgotten that it's supposed to be about helping people. They were incredibly annoying and it was really upsetting sometimes. Made me wish for the happy days, fending off the public.

My fave recent one

Why have i only been paid 7 hours overtime?

I check her pay. 7 days overtime. Days. Shit loads of money.
If she thought she earned that much in 7 hours, one of us is in the wrong job.
If it ain't fun, don't do it
