Wine Chiller emergency !!!

Post by Snev »

My delightfull bundle of lovingness AKA Psyco Sammy..... almost had a meltdown when she found the wine chiller had stopped working so I had to drop everything and investigate...... after much humping and shoving, I managed to remove the chiller from its living space and checked all the electrical bits but it looked like it had just died a slow death so....... We have a spare in the Showroom upstairs and with a bit of persuasion, Sam managed to get one of our fitters and his Dad to man handle it out the back door and down the dangerous steep set of steps..... After hearing lots of banging and a shout of "Dad are you OK" ? Sam found the Chiller was laying on top of our fitters Dad and he was bleeding from a few different places having mis judged the last few steps....... anyway, He quickly got up and said.... "It's OK, I'm allright" to which Sam replied but is the Chiller OK ? ...... anyway we managed to get it home and I tried to install it but it was too tall for the space so we plugged it in somewhere else, then Last Night and for no apparent reason, I suddenly thought about when we fitted our new kitchen and vaguely remembered the electrician fitting a bank of Isolators behind where we now store the Cat and Dog food which Sam had cleaned shortly before finding the chiller not working....... so earlier, I had a look and there it was, turned off...... She then said well I turned it off to clean it !!!! So we then retrieved the original chiller from the Waste area at work and refitted it........ What a faff, what carnage and near fatal disaster all becouse her bleddy wine was warm !!!! :D Sorry to bore you all but it's just another page in my book about life with a Psyco................
Ok, I confess.......

There isn't a moment when I don't think about that......... last night we had a Badger stuck under a bit of Decking, the poor thing was obviously in distress making that horrible noise, I got my instructions and spent about 30 minutes trying to help it all the while being given helpful tips (Not) and a madly barking Daisy..... this was 2.30 am Two hysterical females ( daughter joined in ) dishing out commands with all the neighbours windows open on an otherwise deadly silent night......... The Badger eventually got free and waddled off down the drive..... Never a dull moment !

To be fair, I do like the House as it has a big enough drive for our vehicles and the neighbours are all terrific... the rear garden is very easy to maintain and great for entertaining but.. We are side on to a busy road which does make it noisey at times especially when people are staggering home from the pubs...... not really looking to move now and having the MH helps as we can just go off somewhere nice now.

My CBR600 wouldn't start after a weekend in Spa.
(24 hour bike race)
Everyone tried everything.
We cobbled together some jump leads after an hour of trying.
Getting worried about missing the ferry.

Some tw@t had knocked the kill switch.

Ha ha... the dreaded Kill switch...... our friend Becky had broken down a few miles out of town a aset of Traffic lights..... her and her husband tried everything and decided to call me to borrow the Van.... I had to go fetch the Van from work and the Ramp from home then drove to them and when I got to the bike I noticed the kill switch was off, pressed it and told her to giveit another go........... How embarresssed were they ????

Never ever used it on any of my bikes. Always the on off switch or button.
