I love reading this....... Thanks for taking the time to post all the pics..... As a long time lover of all things and places British, it always amazes me when I see people ignoring our stupendous Islands and all the stunning places that we have..... Just spent another weekend on Portland, with so many little gems found, it's just such a great thing to be able to explore in a bit more detail.......... I'd probably take decades riding around the north of Scotland if I lived there.
Ok, I confess.......

You are quite right Nev.
An area we had not been to before was the Gower Peninsula, absolutely stunning. Another area we have not looked at and i hear is fantastic is the Northumbrian coastal area, we will soon.
Lake District
Peak District
The Dales
The Broads
The Black Forest
Dartmoor
Scotty Land
To name but a few.
A truly Spectacular country................................when dry

Even when it's wet ! I love being out and about in a storm.... we went to Portland again just to watch the lightening but yet again the forecasters were wrong... both the BBC and Met Office, still we had a great time though. Went for an 8 mile cycle ride on and off road, so much to see up there. Have you got your new MH yet Bob ?
Ok, I confess.......

I was due to collect it today in fact, of course they are lieing bastards and we cannot.
So taking ours up to them (Near Hull) tomorrowas the insurance runs out at midnight tomorrow and i don't want the agro of re insuring for hopefully a few days............could be weeks knowing DVLA.

In fairness it's not so much them (although it took them more than 2 weeks to submit the docs) it's DVLA we are waiting for to register it.

So waiting.

Stunning ride NC and couldn't have picked a better week for the weather .
Last time I toured Scotland on the bike it pissed down all week which takes a lot of the fun out of it . I spat my dummy out and threw all my toys out of the pram and headed South to the Lake District which meant missing the North West section . :tdn:
As Bob said , must go back and try again .
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !
