Your experiences with electric bikes

Hello everyone,

Yesterday, I had the chance to test an electric folding bike from Vélobécane, and I was really impressed by the assistance—it's really powerful! There are so many types of electric bikes today, with assistance or almost scooter mode, different motor types (250W, 500W, even 1000W), fully suspended or classic mountain bikes...

I'm really considering buying one, but what a jungle it is! And the prices range from simple to five times more expensive...
