Run today

Post by bobsnicholson »

Nice day thought i would have a run to Matlock Bath to see how the new bike copes with UK shit roads.
Turns out fine. !60 miles in total. I avoided 98% of the pot holes. The other 2% hurt. 1 very nearly through me off.
Bastard government spending our road revenue on foreign aid instead of the roads.
I am now 99% convinced i don't need the Wing.
This X-ADV does all i want out of biking now.
Put it in Sport mode for the last 30 miles coming home. A few embarrassed sports bike riders i past i'm sure.
People still don't know or understand this bike.
Their loss.

At Matlock Bath yesterday there was a Hyabusa parked outside the chippy. I had a good look around it, stunning paint job. I said to myself would i have one, a resounding answer came back, no way. 40 years ago maybe.

Bob's "scooter" is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Can't remember where I read an in depth review on it. Some time ago, but I looked at them differently after reading it. Really impressed the chap who tested it and he included some quite tricky off roading on it as well.
I've always liked the look of them, but my goodness, they're big!

I bet it's easier to move about then the Wing.

Ed still loves his busa.

I tend to avoid Matlock these days, unless meeting someone of course

From where i live it's a great ride to Matlock.
I only go for F&Cs. Found one i really like.

Bee. I bought the new bike based i the reviews i had read on several platforms.
Today i was "offroad" a bit.
Some like to hold on to their yoof and cling to the memories of the good old day's.
Remember i'm a good bit older than you kids
