New Gloves...
New Gloves...
Best pair of Winter Gloves i've had over the years were Richa Arctic Goretex but they are about ten years old now so I went with "Ride's" Best Buy and bought a new pair of Arctics but not with the Goretex this time..... Fit and feel is ace, they just came in the post just as i got off my bike after a rather cold wet Foggy trip.... Oh well, there will be plenty of other times to test them out.
Ok, I confess.......
Re: New Gloves...
I found a perfectly fitting pair of ladies gloves on a bike stuff shopping trip with Phil and Chris earlier today, but I think they misunderstood the meaning of ladies gloves. Looked nice and felt nice but looked as if they'd be hanging in tatters if they had to slide along a road with a human inside them.
And I have four pairs of gloves already, but it still hurt to leave them hanging there. They really wanted to come home with me.
A new helmet and a can of CF50 was enough for one day. Fun shopping though

Re: New Gloves...
I once mended a pair of gloves with special (strong) button thread. Mentioned it in another group, and got slated for wearing unsafe kit!
Wtf
Are you meant to throw everything away all the time.
What's wrong with mend and make do.

If it ain't fun, don't do it

It's people giving advice that you neither require or ask for....... I posted a pic of the T-light candle heater thing that seems to be doing the rounds at the moment..... I said I'm just trying it out and all I got was 'You don't want to do that' and "You Need to buy a diesel Heater, Gas Heater" etc,etc..... does my head in...
Ok, I confess.......
