The new Mercedes X class pick up is a Nissan Navarra (Frontier) with a different coat on.

We loved the Navarra, apart from the constant blowing up of the turbo. Luckily we didn't have to pay for the repairs. It was a really nice truck

The current US Nissan Frontier is the same as the previous generation Navarra introduced in 2005, the M-B X-Class is based on the newer Navarra that we do not get here (our Frontier is built in Tennessee).
