Love this classic racing. When i was there 2 years ago the bike racing was without doubt the highlight of the weekend.
Note to self : must get tickets for Goodwood Revival 2019.

Wonderful! Thanks, Bob.
We have classic racing at Lydden circuit, near Dover a couple of times a year. I can watch all day without getting bored and wandering round the pits and chatting to everyone is fun, too. It is traditional to eat a scary, bright orange chicken curry, from the catering van, for lunch. None of us have ever discovered what it's actually made of but spectators and riders have survived snacking on it for many years now, so it's probably safe to eat.

I haven’t been for a while - must look up their calendar

Couple of weekends ago there was a classic bike and car race meet at Oulton Park only 10 mins from me. I go in Oulton regularly in the week for a cup of tea in Checkers Cafe at the trackside, always something going on......and it's free (to get in not the tea)
