Spotted something the other day then did some digging..
I’ve been up the cv-580 to Queso a few times, but apparently, a few miles further and it turns into switchbacks and a stunning ride along the edge of a ravine. Road surface was brilliant. Scenery was amazing.
Best bit, was the sign that said ‘curves for the next 21 kms’ - and that was after miles of bends anyway

That scenery is really amazing. It looks perfect for riding but it must be hard to pay attention when you're surrounded by such wonders. The nearest any of us came to crashing while I was on holiday is when we all spotted the tiniest donkey foal, resting at the side of the road. It was the sweetest little thing and caused an instant lack of concentration in all of us, boys and girls alike.
One thing i do miss about Spain is the riding. The thing that i will always remember is just how little traffic the is (or isn't). The roads are generally in A1 condition and the scenery is amasing. Spose if i go for awhile i could take or hire a bike.
Great pics NC.
Amazing road! So quiet. I would be tempted to take liberties with all that space to play with I'm normally quite sensible but now and again I forget that I'm supposed to be old and past it
