Was all around the Elan Valley yesterday.
Even went up a very narrow road (ok for bikes and cars) to a dead end at a dam,Claerwen & Caban Coch And passed Craig Goch i believe. Had a look around, very picturesque. Then came back and turned right, what a road for a bike. It comes out at Devils Bridge.
An absolute must to do on the bike asap.
Off to Lake Vyrnwy and area today then onto Bala

Re: Elan Valley
I was in the MH.
Not 100% but i was at a lake with a dam that you could drive accros and a bit touristy at one side. Came back over the dam and turned left, afterabout 5 miles i turned right on a narow road that said unsuitable for commercial vehicles (or something like that) not sure again but think it was B4574, very narrow and i only just got through 12/13 miles or so. The road goes by an old Arch (took lots of photos on this road but cant get them up).
I also think it's pat of The National Cycle Route?
Point being one of the most spectacular roads and scenery's i've seen in this country. AND a simply MUST get back on the bike.
The above bit was after driving up a narrow road to a dead end at a another Dam beginning with Ce.......
Nice
PS, you may have noticed i am not good a remembering names of places n stuff, to busy taking it all in.
