Riding home there were times when the rain was absolutely biblical, BUT, being a hardened northerner and a long time all weather riding i got on with it no bother..................effing wusses that came in car's (i think they guy's that came in cars are gay, might be wrong)

Typical , 5 hours of torrential all the way home , put the bike in the garage and the feckin’ sun comes out . Just had a cheeky vino collapso on the patio .😫
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

I got foooking lost off the A31(I think) missed a turn, then spent the next hour going around Hampshire and Surrey trying to find a road that went north! My socks were wet before I got to Reading.

I think that was where the rain stopped. Then it started again. Then...

By Warwick, I wanted a wee and fuel, so pulled into the service area. No unleaded! Pulled back out, but no more fuel stops on my route, until the backwards count was putting me in panic mode 😳😳

Was glad to get home, after 4 1/2 hours!
Need a new jacket. 😟
I was wet, inside and out, but wasn’t cold 👍

My boots had puddles in by the time I got home. I was really stupid because I put my Sealskinz socks ready to wear this morning and then, for some reason, put a completely different pair on. I knew my boots weren't waterproof so I always wear the dry socks when I think it might rain. The rest of me might have stayed dry if the pony tail hadn't escaped down the inside of my jacket :-o

From the gear those bikers (Colonial definition) are wearing, they have a lot to learn about riding in the rain.

I don't know how long it took me to get home, but I know it wasn't as far as the rest of you had to go. I wish I could have seen where I was going. I should have invested in a Rainpal after all :D
I can hardly move at all this morning but I managed to get as far as the coffee machine, so I'll be fine by the time I reach the bottom of the jug.
Between visits and meetings I must make time to wash the bike properly. It's a while since it got as filthy as it is at the moment. I like washing it so I'm hoping the rain stops long enough to do a proper job.
