It's amazing what is going on with prices Bob....... Loads of people looking to buy into the dream I reckon..... We're going to hang on to ours for a while though as we can't really find anything better unless we pay silly money..... as much as I'd love something bigger or newer, I just can't find anything that I can justify buying or paying tens of thousands more for..... Off for our 27th trip this weekend and it's such a nice feeling just to get away again........... Got a couple of longer trips in the pipeline plus a Week in Cornwall if all goes well...... Where are you going on your first trip in the new MH mate ?
Ok, I confess.......

Well i am propper peed off big time, bloke came back to me, £50K he's paid for it. The dealer has had to do absolutely nowt for 1 hour. We got £43K. Some mark up eh. Not like me to leave so much on the table. Got blinded knowing we got what we paid for it. Bugger and blast, could have had a Honda ADX for the change. Bugger.

That's some mark up ! Still, I guess it was purely down to demand at this time.... i'll be interested to see what happens to SH prices in the longer term..... Virtually everyone we meet is a Newby and most are saying the same thing about new found freedom and a desire to relax more... Off to an Orchard on Sat, there's a nice Farm Shop just up the road so I'll be spending lots in there no doubt...... Let me know when or if you are heading to Van Bitz mate, would be good to meet up.
Ok, I confess.......

It's @ 15 minutes by Hayabusa !!!!!!!! actually it's about 35 minutes in other vehicles so not far from us. By keeping our trips local but frequent, it helps to keep the mileage down and Sammy gets bored ( are we bloody there yet ) so short journeys are less likely to end in shouting and swearing !!!! I prefer two night trips but it's hard when we are open 6 days a week so it's normally just the one.

I like the idea of a motor home, but if it's anything like the VW caravanette I need help to get up and down from the drivers seat. We have a sort of family one that we can use or lend to friends, but it's so valuable that I'd be scared to borrow it. No way can I afford to mend it if something breaks on my watch!
Years ago I had one that I used to take to car and bike shows. I'd open up the back, get the double burner on and sell burgers and suasages in buns all day. Those were the days! Cheap to buy and great fun.

Our Fiat Ducato based MH has a really high Seat, a fair bit higher than the Tranny the side door has an auto step but the entrance is quite narrow so it's still not straight forward and sometimes on the way out I manage to hit the retract button which always amuses other campers as i normally end up in a heap !!!! Selling burgers is a fine way to finance the Van, I'm having a clear out of lots of stuff next week, including my Burger Van, Ice Cream Trike, Various commercial cooking equipment, VFR400 nc30, probably my FJ1200 and the ZR50's.... might sell the Z900 and my silver coins too then I can buy the Tranny from the lease company and get it converted.

I loved your ice cream trike! If only I had two working knees and I didn't know I'd eat all the profit :D
Some of the health and safety stuff on selling food produced at home is almost impossible to overcome now.
I did make great ice cream though, before I had to give up my chest freezer. Cadbury's flake in vanilla, real raspberry ripple and salted peanut butter ice cream. Frozen Eton MessI could go on and on and on. Yum!
