Took the Wing for service this am. Bill Smiths near Chester. This branch is mainly Triumph and Suzuki. (the Honda branch is closed as it's a Jab center).
Anyway giving the Triumphs a good looking over. Christ that new Rocket GT3 is some machine eh, 2500cc arf a million torques, i so so want one. Had to leave to get a sausage butty otherwise i would have bought one. And they are only £20,700..................no not for 2, for one.
Outside eating my sausage butty a brand new Honda Goldwing was delivered, matt black, still on it's frame etc. The man said it was sold, only £32,000. Bloke just arrive on his Suzuki VAN VAN, came across to look, "What a monstrosity" he says, "only £32k" i say, "Rather get the bus than ride one of those", he say's. Say's to me "what you got mate", i say "one of those, that red one there" pointing to the Wing, I was so pleased the dick was so embarrassed, he slid away.

Re: Triumph
It always makes me laugh when things like that happen.
A few years ago, at a bike meet, was chatting with a bloke I knew, plus his mate that I’d never met before.
Noisy bikes wheelieing past; “noisy dangerous things” say I.
Chap 2 looks embarrassed.
Chap 1 asks what I ride now.
ZX9
Chap 2 nearly chokes and walks off.
Chap 1 grins.
If it ain't fun, don't do it
