Camping tonight.........

Post by Snev »

A howling wind and torrential rain here all night..... Sammy's asleep and snoring like a fog horn so I though I'd slip out and go camping................ managed to fight my way to the camp site and now all snug watching Snooker......... Love having a Motorhome on the drive !
Ok, I confess.......

Lovely nights sleep, raining all night and so relaxing listening to it on the roof, I even had a lay-in......... Think I might turn Gypsy !

I love listening to the rain.

Our house has a big overhang so we can have the windows open in all weathers (unless it is horizontal!)

(There are fine mesh screens to stop the bugs getting in)
If it ain't fun, don't do it

Nah Bob, I just walked across the drive !!!! .... I'm so glad we have it though as sometimes it's nice to have a bit of space away from the house especially as we are all at home. Sat in the shed at the moment watching Crocodile Dundee and searching for bits to buy for my Grom..... done quite a bit to it so far but the weather is still rubbish so I'll not know how good it is for a few days yet........... Oh how I envy you !!!!
Ok, I confess.......

It's just so soothing, sometimes up on the moors under a tarp I wish it would never stop.

I miss my tents. I like a rainy night to listen to while I'm enjoying my down air bed and fancy American down quilt. Luxury!

I can't raise the enthusiasm to put a tent up in the garden, but maybe if I had to share with a houseful of family I would :)

Now you mention it there are quite a few people on that MoHo forum that take themself's off to the driveway and stay in their Mo Ho. Wish we had space to park ours at home

I'm not on that site anymore...... they wanted Money.....! Our Drive Isn't big but Big enough for the MH and Two cars but the Tranny and my Son's car have to park in the Road, I currently have the Grom, Z900, MT09 and FJ1200 in the Garage pretty much all buried in everyone else's rubbish so first bit of nice weather, They will all be out and a good clear out will take place......
Ok, I confess.......

Think it's £15 a year. Worth it for me as i have gained so much info. Got me money back 4 fold on saving here and there. Like most of them forums there are some clowns on them................................not this one of course
I must be sick, my garage at home is very tidy. Just the E-Type and Wing in there.
