The Street Triple is out of the workshop, parked and ready to go for its MOT. It's the first time I've ridden it since January 4th.
Getting it out was a bit scary. It's taller and top heavier then the Kawasaki, but with a bit of squeaking and wobbling on tiptoe (me, not the bike) I made it. My heart was racing a bit but it was lovely to hear it running again.
First stop will be at the Shell garage in the village. A full tank of new fuel is needed before I go any distance. I was sure I left it with a full tank, but obviously not.
Also the horn has stopped working. I pulled the connector apart and made everything shiny before putting it back together, but no luck. I shall take it anyway and just ask them to fix it while it's there. Normally I'd just ring one of several mates and get it done before I set off but lockdown has spoiled such simple fixes. Never mind. I can't find anything else it can fail on so I'm hoping to come home with a nice new MOT.
If it stops raining I'll be taking the long route home and start getting used to it again.
