In the Lake District. It's wet, windy, cold and fantastic. Old story, no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing. Walking for miles. Our pitch is on the Ullswater lake shore. Lovely. Pooley Bridge nice village,
Have to say Nev this part of oooop North is equal to what you have down there.....with the added bonus of have propper nice beer up here not that warm flat shite you have down there.

0.6 meters of snowfall overnight is bad weather. When it drifted in the wind, my Honda Civic was buried except for a tiny corner of the roof.

I love the Lake District.
My brother went to school there so he is very familiar with it.
Just a shame I have to trawl up the M6 to get there, but worth it
If it ain't fun, don't do it

For us 95% of the trip is M6. Cruise control on at a steady 70 relax and enjoy. (in a MoHo not bike)

I love that area, Will you be doing the Hardnot Pass ? It's a nice easy bimble in your MH......... I don't like flat beer either...... Exmoor Is like a mini version of Cumbria but it has nicer Coastal places.
Ok, I confess.......
