Stafford Bike Show cancelled

Post by Ninjachica »

October show has now been cancelled.

No great surprise, but a shame.

Never been and probably would not have gone if it had been on.
In fact i think the last proppa bike show i went to was in Alicante near the airport.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

That’s where Ed bought his v-strom

Some real rubbish there, but also some lovely stuff.

Not enough clothing stalls for my liking, but since most people ride in T-shirt’s and shorts, that makes sense!

Nice cake stall last time i went 😁

Last time I went , it pissed it down all day and the bike parking was in the field opposite the entrance . Must have seen four or five bikes go over as they tried to ride across the wet grass . Not sure why bikes couldn't use the paved car park and put cars in the field .
Considering what was on show , not sure the entrance fee was worth it .
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

I took the ZZR and followed a sign which took me up a really Stoney Track but was then redirected to the next field which meant going down the Stoney track.... luckily it wasn't raining or I would have probably just turned for home..... It's similar at the Bath and West Showground which also host's the Classic bike show in Feb.... The place is always plastered in mud and you have to park on muddy ground.... even the tarmac gets covered in the stuff....... Puts me off going.
Ok, I confess.......

I live really near it. There isn’t much hard standing at all.

I went the other year, but didn’t find you lot. Not really my thing.

Bought a yellow workman’s coat for the boot of my car (in case I break down). 👍
