very unhappy

Post by bobsnicholson »

:'-( :'-( :'-( :'-( :'-( This morning Shirl and I should have been waking up in our hotel in Lima Peru to start our South American & Canada trip 8-) 8-) 8-)
Was to include 2 nights on the Andean Belmond Train (similar to Orient Express) but through Peru, A night and boat ride at Lake Titicaca, a full day tour of Machu Pichu, and lot's of other stuff before we started our 14 day cruise up the West Coast stopping off in Costa Rica, Nicaragua (i know), Guatemala (i double know), Mexico, San Diego US and getting off in Vancouver. A week in Vancouver then touring in a 4X4 for 2 weeks stopping for 1/2/3 nights at. Whistler, Kamloops, Lake Louise, Banff, Calgary, Creston, Penticton, Harrison Hot Springs, then fly back to sunny UK.
This dam virus has saved me a fortune :'-( :'-( :emb: :emb: :( :(

Instead i will do what CC suggests and put a beer in each room of the house and have a room crawl. :emb:

And to top it all my Goldwing has not been delivered.......i'm so unlucky i had a rocking horse and it died

I feel for you Bob.

I was lucky enough to have my holiday in Oman just before this kicked in, but all other plans are off.

Worst bit for me, is that I haven’t seen Ed since January and I don’t know when I will. 😟

As soon as the lockdown is over, I’m off!

That sounds an amazing holiday, Bob. Maybe you can try again one day.

Brig. I've been thinking of you, not being able to get back home. I miss my family badly, but glad they're all together on the farm and at least they're only a few miles away. There must be very few people in this country that haven't been affected in some way. :'-(

Why would you travel in that dangerous and lawless country known as the USA?

Anyway, it's all imitestical ;-) we ain't gone.
And I still haven't got my Goldwing. The dealer has the full cost of the bike off me, but no bike :'-(

The building with the flapping wings from about 8:28 to 9:05 is the Milwaukee Art Museum, which is not far from the Harley-Davidson "farm implement" museum.
