Not really.
I remember elections in the 60s n 70s, they were promising then to sort the NHS out, roads, blah blah same old same old. They did however do something......they cut all the budgets and increased various taxes, cut interest rates (ok if you have a mortgage, for a pensioner who has saved for years for his retirement not so good)

Twats the lot of em............and it WONT change......at least not for the better.

If only they were leaches (anything here about British MPs applies to US Congresscritters, except the latter are usually even more cretinous) rather than beholden to organized crime.
