Got me there, Bob. As we do it as a day trip we've never stayed in the area. Maybe someone else will know of somewhere. Jonny 1400 (one of John's bestest mates) is coming round tomorrow. One of the things we're going to do is try and find a date that suits as many of our friends and family as possible, so at least those who want to come and say hello will know if they're able to make it or not.

Viewed lots of places on tinterweb and will choose one. Thinking if someone knows of a particularly nice place i would consider it.
Should my trip co-inside with Johns run all the better. I wont book for sometime yet so there is still a chance i could combine my trip.

Just playing google maps.
Never been/seen Stonehenge, so, on my run down to Loomies whenever, it is not too far off my route, therefore i will include it in my itin. Just saying like.
Will be busy today with all the crackpots

I used to play at Stonehenge, long before it was fenced off. Not even a car park back then so we used to leave the car at the side of the road and walk across the fields to it. Always stopped there for our picnic lunch on our way to Cornwall for our holiday. Always deserted, but very popular now. Well worth a look if you haven't been there before, but I'm glad I remember it as it used to be.
