Just caught up with lots of posts after having to work for a living , went to Piglet country but didn't see him . (probably avoiding me.)
Seems the forum was busier than normal with the amount of posts I've just trawled through . Looks like you're all having a lot more fun when I'm not here .
Working for a living is not much fun but it pays the bills and working in America in summer sounds terrible hopefully you got some time to explore and see places while that far away.
Unfortunately it was all work and no play which included a lot of travelling back and forth to the UK . Indian Springs , Nevada is not a place to go sight-seeing plus I've made the mistake of going to Vegas before . Once is enough for any human!
Las Vegas doesn't appeal to me at all, I know a few who have been and one who goes every year I do not understand why, it's hardly a holiday destination, there's people there
We went to LV for a week and stayed in the Bellagio (because madam wanted to walk on the same carpet as a Mr Clooney), anyway we had a great week. I gave madam $10 to gamble for the week, she ended up winning $24.
Have to say we really enjoyed it, full of crackpot yanks of course but you hear them before you see them therefore can generally avoid them.
Then picked up a hire Camero SS 6.3 to go to LA, San Fran, Route 66 blah blah. Would go again but can't afford the tips...............and don't want to be shot.
Are your holiday plans still the same? I have the breakfast date on my calender. I'll be on the Street Triple if it starts. It's become a bit untrustworthy but I'm giving it another chance to impress me.

Yep, I didn't feel like riding 48+ hours (round trip) to watch you chase sheep.

Welcome home CC.
Did you get to have a ride on a Harley AND of course you tipped well everywhere you went and everyone you met
Servers (Servo-Americans?) get taxed as if they are paid 20% in tips, no matter what they actually receive.
