I didn't understand any of it. I've been intimidated by Harriet, who is only two but already knows how to work a smartphone and swipe her Father's card to pay for shopping. The whole world has gone mad. It's only a matter of time before some of us less technologically gifted are rounded up and punished for being unable to participate in the real world.

That putting your card near the machine thing i always ask if i can flash them. Get some funny looks.

My daughter pays for stuff with her watch.

I see they use their phones anorl to pay for stuff they cant afford, scary init.

My son also pays with a watch. I made the bank stop my card working on the wave at it machine. I like to have a bit of paper to read, so it really hurts when you spend money. I was shocked to find you have to opt out, rather then in for card waving.

Card waving........love it. I keep forgetting about the waving bit. It's only when the cashier ask's is it contactless (tech term )
