Strange one

Post by Ninjachica »

Ed has encountered an English chap that rides a BMW

He's retired too, and they often go out together. This is great, as there are no language barriers, and he rides fine (safe, decent speed etc).

Ive met him a few times and been out with them (and sometimes with a few others). His partner is lovely, but, like me, she is doing the country comute.

He is a nice chap, but... we were talking about tattoos recently, and i showed him my new one. Inside forearm. About 5 weeks old. He stroked my arm.
WTF. Only Ed gets to stroke me (or the grandkids).

So, am i over reacting, or was he trying it on?
If it ain't fun, don't do it

Some people are just "Touchy Feely"......... give him the benefit of the doubt and see how it goes, if you feel uncomfortable in his presence, tell him, he might be unaware.
Ok, I confess.......

I agree with Nev. He might be like that with every one, although I have a friend who's a bit like that and he genuinely doesn't understand that anyone might not find it acceptable. He really does think he's only being friendly.
He doesn't do it to me any more, but whenever I see him doing it to others it makes me cringe. He just doesn't seem to pick up on signals.
