Yeah, erm, not pretty...... never heard of it before you mentioned it....... reckon there will be thousands of E bikes being marketed before long though..... I can see the appeal for the smaller lighter stuff but the big fast expensive Bikes just don't make sense to me at the moment............... This Ox looks a bit retro/heavy and very un sexy, a bit like the HD E thing truth be known................ I still haven't got the Sur-ron yet.... long story but should have it next week.......had to change the Z900's battery a week ago as it failed....... The old one is currently in a stack of previous failed batteries awaiting disposal....... these failed batteries are a bit of a worry and not really confidence enspiring given the new direction we are all being hearded to...................
Ok, I confess.......

Personally i think all this leccy stuff is heading for a big do do.
I'm keeping a petrol and a diesel motor until they take them off me or i drop dead. Bollocks to the polor bears, done nowt for me.
Some great documentaries around as to what is needed to make all the batteries and how they are mined..........and the costs.............nonsense.

Of the people I have spoken to who own or have driven e cars, everyone has said how special they are but....... none of them own or have driven quick cars so I'm not sure if it is the thrill of instant power or that they are special..... I guess a test drive will see.... Been toying with the Idea of an E Transit next but not looked into it properly.
Ok, I confess.......

The Ox has similar power and stats as a 125 so I just read....... Bob also have a look at the Sur-ron Storm Bee.. it's got 520NM of torque and a 0-50 of 3.6 s with a range of 60 miles..... looks like an MX bike........

I had a look, too. I was put off by their awful mission statement. One of those stupid ones that's all pretentious and says nothing. Apart from the poor use of the English Language. I think, if you're going to promote your product on the internet, you shouldn't have a mission statement unless it says something.

Oh, and yes. They're all very ugly and I'm pretty sure I can make it to the end of my biking days without needing a leccy bike.

I wouldn't want one if it was my only bike but as a spare it might be good but not at the prices they are at the moment.... My Sur-ron is £4600 and thats bad enough !

I'm still trying to assess which bike would be most suited to
1. nipping to the shop in the village at home
2. strapping to the MH and using for likkle trips whilst away.
I have a PCX 125 i am using at the mo. Good little scoot.
I have new SH125i on order due anytime, i will decide which of the 2 to keep or ditch both and get one of these small leccy bikes. Problem with the leccy bike is charging whilst away on sites.

Bob, I think you can charge these smaller E Bikes via Electrical Hook Up on site or via Solar and Storage Battery ( That's what I do withe the Assisted pedal bike and will be doing with the Sur-ron....) You don't actually have to find a E Charger as such as the bikes can be charged via a normal 13 Amp socket so you should be able to just plug it in whilst hooked up...... allthough some sites do have a lower Amp hook up so it might pay to find out what a potential purchase requires....... Personally I'm happy that the Sur-ron can be charged in the Garage at home as well as by the Solar System in the MH so It's a no brainer.......... Should be actually picking it up this week so I'll let you know how it goes.........
Ok, I confess.......
