What a load of rubbish..
What a load of rubbish..
Second week in a row the Bin Men have not taken our Recycling.... last week they missed the 4 houses in the Culdesac, this week because there was a glass bottle in with the Plastics... one bloody glass bottle !!!! It's obviously beyond the one brain cell's capacity........ I think I do a way better job than they do.....
Ok, I confess.......
Re: What a load of rubbish..
Ours have got the re-cycling really organised now. Most weeks they turn up with the ordinary bin lorry and in it all goes. I've written to complain many, many times.
Maybe they only do it to me because I'm a troublemaker. Maybe everyone else gets the purpose built, sort as you go, super duper efficient new lorry the council invested all my council tax in collecting their recycling bins.......

I like the German method.
You pay a nominal amount for each collection from your house.
The bin men come each day (i think). One day garden waste, another day plastic, another day glass etc
No one wants to pay, so most people take their washed stuff to lidl (or wherever) and offload at the skips there.
Food waste goes in the compost.
They've done it for so long, they freak out if i put the paper waste in the plastic waste bin under the sink!

If it ain't fun, don't do it
