Have fun!

I don't mind a bit of winter camping. I imagine a nice motor home would be a little more comfortable though. :)

I used to enjoy camping

The alcohol helps.

Used to camp at all the BSBs, etc
Even camped at Spa a couple of times (24 hr bike racing)

I would want a proper bed now 🤪
If it ain't fun, don't do it

I'm kind of cheating a bit.... when I said Camping......... to be honest it's more like moving your house to a different location !!! one thing I don't like about Puk is the fixed bed, It's too small for two and I have to sleep on the inside which makes it very difficult to clamber out of bed...... the next one will either have an Island bed or just a single !!!!

Sure does ! I remember waking up in a puddle, inside my tent, with my FJ1200 laying on it after heavy rain and half a bottle of Cognac ...... had a bit of trouble getting out and even more trouble picking the bike up in all the mud whilst still drunk......... Funny thing is, I still look back at my France trip with fondness !!!!........ It was no fun riding all the way up through France without a Left Hand Mirror.......

Never saw the appeal of camping although we did do a week in 1973 on a tour around Italy. Every night we stopped we had issues of sorts. Was pleased to get home. Dumped the tent in some field en route north.
Now to old to even contemplate it.
Enjoy the solitude Nev.

To be honest, Camping is horrible in so many ways, I haven't done it for a few years now but was hoping to do the Roman fort at the top of the Hardknot this year ..... Currently sat in Puk watching lots of young Ladies in Jodhpurs bouncing up and down !!! :D

I know where i would rather be and it ain't on top of a wind and rain swept desolate mountain top.
Give me the ogle of jods anytime.
Anyway when Shirl and i were up the Hardknott quite recently we saw plenty of signs Strictly No Camping, i didn't see in brackets, unless you are from Devon :D
