Proud Daddy Day today...
Proud Daddy Day today...
Our Son went for a new job earlier this week and was told he got it today....... He is now an International accounts manager for a large Tool supplier. So he will be leaving Screwfix to join Tool Stream as a 20 year old ...... He chose not to go to Uni and now has a very well paid job and great position at a young age....... And our Daughter has just told us that she has been promoted today too........... Proud Daddy indeed........... Now if they could just clear out and live somewhere else I'll be made up !!!!!!!
Ok, I confess.......

Nice one.
I was super proud when my son in law just got his last promotion - probably more than his own parents! (Definitely more)

it's just a great feeling..... We are funny bunch, our daughter was always very Arty but now she's doing a job we'd never have imagined her doing..... Son is a Maths and statistics person so he knows exactly what he wants to do.
Ok, I confess.......

It's a good feeling, knowing you've set them off to a good start.

Know how you feel.
I was dead chuffed when our eldest got his MBA.
Having his own company he is lucky he don't need to look for a job.............but it's hard going in these times.
Tell your son from an old bloke well done.
Is this son the cricketer ?

Work is for people that can't play golf.

Hard times and funny times indeed bob.... reckon things will get worse too............... Taylor, our Son, no longer plays Cricket, he had a lot of fun and made a lot of mates during those years but he decided to quit playing and spend time in the Gym and doing other things.... he's a good lad and knows what he wants out of life....
Ok, I confess.......
