Was talking to my brother about this last night.

They have a Kymco scooter in, that needs a new front disk. Has to come from Korea. 12 week wait.
The bloke keeps ringing up twice a day.

Frustrating for everyone!

It's in bits though..... the engine is having lots of new bits and it's out of the bike on the bench, that's what I was told a few weeks back. I've just asked for a collection date for the completed bike, we'll see what the reply is......... not a happy bunny now, got insurance and tax to renew in a few days.

OK, so this is what was said in a phone call from the Boss.... James,( Boss) took on my Grom project personally together with a few other interesting Bikes but suffered Mental health issues shortly after....... He apologised profusely for all the delays and lack of communication and has been to hell and back this last few months. He is now stable under medication and private treatment and has promised to get the grom finished by Xmas.... `he will be posting a video diary of the build at various stages and hopes the finished article will be better than both of us could imagine............... I'm a lot happier now.
Ok, I confess.......

Yes mate and I really do feel for the chap as Mental Health issues are horrible....... As for the work, He's giving it some proper thought with many upgraded parts and a 225 CC capacity using the Big Bore Kit, an offset Crank with forged con-rod, 34mm Throttle body and induction kit with bell mouth intake, the 5 speed gearbox upgrade, New 4 valve head and Race/road cam plus all the other bits to make it all work, then it get's dyno tuned via a Power Commander 5....... there is talk of 30 bhp.... up from @ 8.5 and that's just the Engine !!!!! I'm super excited now :D
Ok, I confess.......
