Flat

Post by Ninjachica »

Kit up, drop bike off main stand… something amiss.

Bleddy flat front tyre.

Not 100% shock, as it had dropped to 30psi the week before, which was odd.

No sign of a foot pump! Drive into town and buy one.
Couple of minutes later, all done and off I go.
But, check before coming home, and it’s dropped 10psi. 😕

New tyre this week then.

I hate punctures. I have all manner of repair kits but sooner or later, the wheel has to come out. So frustrating! I know exactly how to do it, but I really can't grip hard enough to get anything undone nowadays :'-(

But I have a plan. Little Harriet is five now. It surely can't be much longer before she's stronger then I am :)

Good luck getting yours done NC.

I went through a phase of having punctures on new tyres a few years ago but nothing since @ 10 years ago when my Busa's rear went down on a spirited ride home from West Bay.... funny thing was that I pulled in behind a Bentley GT that also had a flat..... must have been a a bunch of screws somewhere........
Ok, I confess.......

Bob, when they go down, You'll notice that the bike won't drop into corners, it wants to stay upright so it's best to pull over ASAP.

Don't know why people complain about a flat tyre, it's only flat at the bottom.

AND, where's Piglet??

Piglet has dissapeared, He's not posted on FB either and no sign of him looking in on there either... A few of us have Messaged him and I have his work details but a bit worried about contacting him......
Ok, I confess.......
