oops there goes another marriage

I know only a few of us are on here but, just thought I'd add something...... we got woken up early this morning by our friend the Divorce Lawyer...... apparently her husband has been having a twelve month affair.......... this is the 3rd time in their 27 years and 2nd time in the last 3, that she knows about...... WTF is the point in doing this after so many years ? this is the last remaining couple that me and Sam have known who have no bikes, in all the time we've been together who have stayed together. We are the only un-married couple in our circle, yet we have stayed loyal and honest through all the ups and downs........ I'm beginning to think that riding bikes is the key to a good relationship !

My friend of over 45 years has just separated from her husband. They got married in 1985 or 86.

His 2nd affair.
Totally denied it, but she spent 3 hours trying to get into his phone, and succeeded. Bingo. She blocked the c*** (her words). All hell broke out.
He is now living in a small flat.
She is currently plotting!
She has every single bit of paperwork he might ever need.
He is screwed.

I think she will leave him to fester. End of.
No divorce. No funds. Nowt.

He came home drunk, went to bed, left his phone in the kitchen, She saw a message and opened it and her heart sank..... She read all the messages and saw all the pictures...... She then messaged the other Woman saying, I think we need to talk !........ Our friend is a well respected Divorce Lawyer FFS ! ..... They have a nice big House, Two Rentals and She owns a busy Post Office.... He is a Car Salesman........ I think he's going to be in deep Poo !

It's all so sad. I hate seeing what has happened to some of my married friends and I've never understood cheating.

Maybe bikes really are the answer. It's how I met John and it stayed as our main interest all the time we were together
