Probably better to do the bit from Barnstaple to Braunton, Saunton, Croyde and on to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe then.... just a suggestion oh and back in 1988 I set a time of 34 minutes from Barnstaple Clock to Exeter St Davids Clock on my FJ1200.... not sure if you'd beat that !!!!
If they have built a motorway since 1988 i'll have a go.

Ha, last time i road it the surface was a right mess, full of pot holes and uneven finish, nice enough road otherwise, it takes you through some lovely Devon Countryside and along the River Taw (Tarka Way).
Ok, I confess.......

OK, Monday I have two jobs to look at, Tuesday I'm in the Tranny picking up Kitchen units from one of our suppliers in EXETER ! but have to take them to our fitter on site back in Yeovil, Wednesday I have two more jobs to look at, Thursday or Friday we have a chap coming down from London to pick up our Catering Trailer, Friday I have to take our son to train station then on to another job, Sat and Sunday is a MH trip with our daughter and her friend....... Looks unlikely we'll be meeting up again Bob but I'll do a bit more thinking about places to visit.
Ok, I confess.......
