Realised yesterday that I’ve had the ninja for over 20 years now!
Still love it, even though it is a bit of a lardy lump.
Went shopping. Decided to go one hop up the motorway to avoid the nose to tail traffic . Took a short cut to the junction. 40k/hr for a bit. 20kph in places due to roadworks. Almost there, and… concrete bollards across the road. Closed! Hmmm
Long diversion for nothing!

Re: 20 years
Benasau today.
Turned off the motorway ready for the wriggly bits, and spot a police car ahead.
Only one turn off, and he didn’t take it. Slowest I’ve ever done those bends. Much less scary
I let him get ahead through one village so I managed to play a bit, but, he turned into the same car park!
Sod’s law, left at the same time as us too, so we took our time getting ready. Didn’t see him again, so fun ride back.

Re: 20 years
I don't know but I'd rather see upside down pics than no pics at all for day after day on here ...... Your Z 900 was on my list way back in 1993 ..... It still makes me look on Ebay from time to time. Longest time i've owned a bike is 13 years but the longest I've ever owned and ridden one is 8........ Good for you Ninja, keep it up.
Ok, I confess.......

I particularly like the upside down plate of food. Reminded me of my childhood.
My Mother can still make meals that stick to the plate if you turn it upside down

Fair play that's a long time to keep a bike , longest I've kept a bike is my current FJR (5 years) .
So it got me wondering , is the Ninja that good or are you just not willing to change your name ?

It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

Re: 20 years
I’ll be honest .
I really love it! Open it up and I have the biggest grin. Handles well (but brakes are a bit dodgy).
Very comfortable.
Happier now the wheels have been done (they were terrible)
I do laugh when I get on it, as half of it seems to be missing, compared to the Fazer!
No need to get rid, so don’t intend to
