Went and had a look at Harley's as i have not looked for a long time.
God they have some pig ugly bikes eh.
However, the adventure looking type bike, The Pan American looks quite smart. £14k looks about right anorl.
Would i buy one, not whist i have a hole in my bottom.
Work is for people that can't play golf.

I once sort of kind of almost liked the idea of having one...... but thankfully my brain and logic quickly took over......... Not trying to be argumentative here as I know that some other members have owned them but fuck my old boots, If I ever buy one or even Test ride one, feel free to shoot me.................. Ugly as Fuck each and every one..... built for Ugly as fuck and vastly over weight Murcan wannabees with no idea whatsoever what a modern Jap or European bike is like......... If I had a pound for everytime a customer asked me if I was on a Harley, I'd be rich....... WTF ? ..... sorry, rant over now ! :D
Ok, I confess.......

I loved my little one, but for me it has to be pre-2000, before all the Euro control stuff was applied to them. And now I don't have a Harley mechanic on hand even that could become a problem.
Glad I've been there and done that. I had a brilliant few years on it and lots of happy memories, but I won't be going back.

About the time I was thinking of giving it up I went to test ride their new 750. John came with me.
I didn't bother to ride it. Theystarted itup for me and It was so feeble and sounded so horrible that I had to walk away.

Phil said later that John told him I looked as if I'd been slapped in the face with a wet fish.

I've never bothered to look at another Harley.
