I'm always impressed at what you've done for yourself. XX
I sometimes look back and wonder what I'd be doing now if I'd made one or two different decisions, but I expect most of us do the same.
Selling the house is bringing on a lot of that sort of thing, but time to move on and see what happens next.

Say hello to RE. I hope I get to meet her one day. She sounds properly fierce.

Lol... behind every successful person, there's usually someone who's never happy !!!! I'm still friends with two of my ex's (engaged to both) one is very happy with her life, the other not so........ as you mention, it all depends on which road you take. Today i'm trying to mend the expensive plastic pile of junk that is the Dyson.... and the Mira Shower, both have packed up so tensions are high in the Yeo Hostel ..... funny how the kids are suddenly interested in Puk's facilities all of a sudden ! Have you actually found a house yet ?
Ok, I confess.......

I've stopped repairing the Dyson and bought a new one. Anything that means less pain is worth paying for. I have one of the very light cordless ones and it was only when it broke (again) that I remembered how tiring and painful one of the ordinary upright ones was to use.
One of the few times I've been happy to hand over money, knowing life will be better for it :)

No. No house hunting for me until this is sold. I'm lucky to have the use of a studio with a wood burner to live in temproarily and space for the hens, bees, cat and all my wordly goods, too.
It's not going very well though. I've just discovered that my buyer is a lying bastard and has wasted two whole months, deliberately holding the sale up because he wants to move here on the day he leaves his old house.
I accepted a low offer because he told the agents that he was a week away from exchange, he had somewhere to stay, so he didn't need to wait and that his mortgage was in place. He still hasn't exchanged, he won't go and live with his parents as he said he would and he hasn't had his mortgage approved yet.
I am really, really angry and told my agents that I'm thinking of taking it off the market while I find another agent to handle it for me. That got everyone's attention.
I am told that after speaking to every agent in the chain and also my and his solicitors, my agents are going to tell him to get on with it or lose it. Fine with me if they think it will do the trick. I'm giving them one week and if there's still no progress I'm putting a stop to it.

And then there's the Street Triple, which I lavish time, love and lots of money on. It waited until I was almost all the way to the New Forest for my first solo trip, (which was my goal for all this time I've spent recovering) and then broke down. Again.
So that's the end for it. I don't trust it any more. It'll be fixed next Monday and then onto eBay, to see if there's any interest. It's the last straw.

But on the plus side, my new breakdown company proved to be excellent and got me and the bike safely home.
I think that's the only good bit ofthe week so far, although I did have a nice glass of wine and some chips on Tuesday night :)

I didn't want the Dyson (@£450) as all the other Dysons were rubbish.... luckily I bought a Charles a few years back, for the workshop at work and he is now tucked up in a warm corner of the living room complete with new filter and Hose..... he's such a good sucker upper and no bags or silly 10 minute battery life. Have you had any other interest Bee ? I seem to remember reading it's a sellers market at the moment...... I hate wasters and Liars....Bin him off and take a deep breath. Last weekend I managed to fall out with a bloke in a converted Tranny in a car park in Weymouth after he lit a BBQ with Diesel... The Smoke enveloped Puk and I was not a happy bunny, ended up moving after I told him to FO...... anyway, I just thought I'd mention it for the comedy factor, he was about twice my size though......... Stripples are great when they are working I'm told but I've heard lots of bad things about Triumphs over the years, that's why I've not looked at buying one too seriously...... Still no news from JHS yet ! Week 7 starts today...... taking Daisy on my trip so it'll be interesting how she copes whilst I dangle my tackle.... hope she will just sit still for a while, not sure she will though.
Ok, I confess.......

According to me, only 40 minutes. According to the sat-nav that I still can't handle I needed to go right through the centre of Southampton and it took over an hour.
Another massive fail

I would have taken the A27 to Portsmouth and pick up the M27 to avoid going through Southampton itself..... turn off on junction 2 and take the A326.... If you went all the way on that road You'd end up at Calshot !
Ok, I confess.......

I think it is time for the Triumph to go , bikes are meant to be fun not as much hassle as you're getting .

BTW - just got shot of a Dyson animal and bought a cordless Vax . Still got Henry for the big jobs . 8-)
