Grom.

Post by Snev »

Had a call earlier saying the Bike is in bits but they wanted to know what I wanted to achieve with the bits and suggested a few mods.... waiting for another call now to see what they are thinking...... On top of the Cam and Big Bore Barrel I think they are suggesting Porting and Bigger Valves plus a polished and bored out throttle body....... this could get expensive !!! could have bought a decent Busa for the money............ :-S
Ok, I confess.......

It's progress! Well, it sounds as if they haven't forgotten you, anyway, and so they shouldn't with the amount of money you put their way.
It sounds exciting anyway. I think they're wanting to do the extra work to try and make sure you don't blow yourself up and then sue them :D
I really am looking forward to hearing how much difference this makes to it. Tell them to hurry up. I'm so excited!

Did he ring back?
He needs to be careful. I'm slowly, slowly upping my mileage. Next Tuesday I'll be aiming for 146 miles, an overnight camp and back again the next day. Keep your fingers crossed for me. Weather's supposed to be O.K.

I could be in his shop before Christmas. I'll crouch behind him, you push him over backwards and I reckon with both of us on it we'll get his attention

I'm aiming for the New Forest, just to see how I get on. I didn't want to arrange a big meeting before I knew if I can manage it, but I think I'm ready :)
It'll be easier going then your planned adventure, that's for sure!

I'm meeting a girlfriend once I get there and we'll ride back together on Wednesday. We might lunch at Cowdray Park. They do allow grubby bikers in, but they usually sit us in a discreet corner. We don't care. Easy to park, we can see our bikes and the food is delicious. We always win them over and getthem smiling before we leave. They love us really :)
