(two weeks) ..... Then on tuesday i phoned a Campsite, left a message and on thursday, left another..... then I phoned another campsite and left a message and again today........ then I phoned the first campsite and left another message......... Just left another but no calls yet.......... WTF is going on ?

Covid. No one available to answer the phones 😡😡😡

I’ve got it at work. One company holding up a section of work, which means funds are suspended. Claim they can’t do it, as they don’t have the right info. Email only. Won’t tell me what else they need (fecked if I know). They are Working from home, so I can’t ring and figure it out with them. 😡😡

Yes. It's happening here, too. And my neighbour was saying justthe same thing to me this afternoon. It's a very strange life we're all living now.

And, while I think of it, I was taking a butterfly walk this afternoon. (I am a new volunteer for Kent Wildlife Trust).Ten people booked. Very bad weather and only two of us showed up. Of all the missing people only one bothered to ring and say she didn't fancy it in stormy weather so she wasn't coming.

We still found 10 different types, despite the rain and wind, one of which I'd never seen before. I really enjoyed it and I think the other lady did too. Two hours was gone in a flash.

My next two things I get to help with are Moth trapping and identifying and lake swimming. Never a dull moment for a tree hugger :)

I just love walking around looking at all the wildlife and Fauna, we're off to Thorney Lakes again in a while after finally got through to someone..... this site is set next to a disused railway line and also has a few lakes so I'll be out searching for stuff whilst Sammy cracks open the first dozen bottles of Pinot......... :D got a few good recognition books now but none for Butterflies, might have to get one as there are quite a few around at the moment. Have a great weekend everyone.

Covid , Brexit , Climate change .

All the excuses used for this country coming to a stop . I'm currently trying to build an extension on the house and I've been given all of the above for why the builder hasn't turned up , why materials aren't in stock , building inspector can't visit .etc. etc. :(
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

I figured it out and re-sent my official letter requesting the change that was needed. Added one small sentence to the full page. Hey presto, over the weekend the job was done.

Why didn’t they just say ‘you need to include this bit in your letter’

The 3rd party has been waiting for funds since May. I’ve completed my bit, out of my hands now.

Let’s see if covid holds the payment up🙁

Tried for days to get in touch with DVLA about the registration of the new MH.
Finally got a reply, Said don't bother us until your application has been in for 8 weeks. It's only been 5 thus far.
