Might have been a tad (!) over the speed limit today, going over a pass on a dual carriageway. I was passed by another bike, doing about 5mph more than me. Then, sudden screaming noise, and a bike flew past me, knee down, his head level with my knee! Where the feck did he come from? Follows by 2 mates.
All of them turned off at the next junction (about 100 m further) to Muro. We carried on, laughing.
Turned off to get on the lanes to Benasau, and guess who we beat to the lanes?!!! I moved over and let them all scream off again!
Had a lovely breakfast as usual. Comes to something when you don’t have to order... he just checked we were having our usual!
Left there, and headed over the tops to Alcoy. Near the top, got passed again by 3 bikes.
Don’t get me wrong, I passed a few things too, but I’m too old to be flying around narrow mountain roads with massive drops on the side!
Loved the scenery between Alcoy and Banyeres. Google it.
