Vanbitz supply and fit most of the options you may need on a MH. They are based in Taunton and come with a very good reputation.
They also have a very good camp site there.
We are hoping to pick our new van up early July.
As we have a wedding reception to attend on 31st July in Oxford i was thinking of coordinating having options fitted at Vanbitz whilst having a few days in and around their campsite after the reception from say 1st Aug.
Also thinking if you are close and around we could maybe meet up.
All in the thinking stage at the mo.

Depending on route from Oxford It'll probably take you between 3 and 4 hours subject to Traffic to get to them, the site is right next to the M5 though, so not sure how noisey it would be ? There are quite a few nice sites nearby , we stayed at Ashe Farm near Thornfalcon last Sat, It's only @ 6 miles from Vanbitz and it was very quiet, hopefully this weekend it'll be another local site at South Petherton, it has a great farm shop and a curry house just up the road. Ashley Hewitt and her husband John have bought a Hymer A or B class and said about taking a trip south to meet up with Me and the Psycho ! and I think Keith Lewis was looking to do something Similar.... CC can hook up his Shed and Emma could sleep in her Ford ! Not sure about Ninja though ?
Ok, I confess.......

Now that would be an assortment eh.

The Vanbitz site is handy as if i were to comfirm work to be done on the van by them it's so convenient to drop it off to them (a matter of yards) they work on it for the day, you go off touristing, pick it up when you get back. Ditto next day if jobs take more than a day.
I believe it's 10/15 mins walk into Tounton from the site?
Anyway lets see what transpires.

Sounds good Bob, what are you getting them to fit ? Walking to the Taunton Boundary might be 15 minutes but the Shopping centre is a fair bit further ! Taunton does have some good shops and lots of places to see, no Bike shops though unless you go to Bridgewater up the M5 where you will find Riders. There are a few good MH places nearby, Chelston at Wellington, and Highbrige Motorhomes and Caravans is brilliant plus a few more with Shops too. There's a great Garden Centre at Brent Knoll and lots of other places to visit ... I could go on and on !!!!

Next little job for me is fitting another 100 Litre fresh water tank under the bed to double the amount we can carry..... I've noticed that we loose a fair bit when driving, probably some sort of overflow system, so I'll take a look at that too. I think having 200 litres of fresh water just gives us peace of mind whilst off grid.
Ok, I confess.......

Yeah, i have fitted a few extras but no where near any max weight limit yet.... I rather hope Sam will get used to drinking Pinot from the Shower though, that'll save a few Tons every night !!!! :D Not weighed it yet but the extras are all very light apart from the two Batteries and the extra water...... I think It's @ 450KG's allowable so probably still got enough spare for a Gold Wing !!!!
Ok, I confess.......
