Well I never!
The ninja has 90°valves, but I keep forgetting to get them on the Fazer. Bleddy nightmare every time I check the tyres...
Then...
Someone mentions this...
Arrives tomorrow. That is going to make life easier

Re: Who knew?
What do you need one of them for ? Just give the tyres a good ol' kick and away to go !
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

Re: Who knew?
Post has arrived
Looks like a pretty useful product.
But I’m a bit peeesed off. Minimum order was 2 units. I didn’t want 2, but figured I could give one to a mate, or keep it somewhere else on the bike. Might be useful for Ed.
Today, 2 separate parcels arrived. Wtf

Re: Who knew?
I am obsessed with checking tyres, oil, anything that can be checked. That's what friends tell me.
Apparently I have the ultimate selection of things designed to get air into bike tyres.
We all have to be good at something.....

Re: Who knew?
I could have done with you earlier Bee.......... Had square tyres on the MT.... in my defence, they are new tyres but I'd only done a few miles on them before putting it in the garage a few months back.
Ok, I confess.......
Re: Who knew?
Months!
MONTHS?????
Do you say these things just to hurt me?

Re: Who knew?
Yup.... I'm spitefull like that.... ! seriously though, I've done 840 miles on the Z900, 260 on the MSX and 2 on the MT and Zero in the Motorhome since November........ must try harder.
Ok, I confess.......
Re: Who knew?
You're doing better then I am. I've been waiting for brain scan results, so not riding for a while. Results looking good so far. One more lot to be done, but as soon as I feel able to let go of my hot water bottle I plan to get out there again.
Kawasaki's turn next. Must remember to check the tyres

I was thinking intake/exhaust valves which did not make sense with the measurement value.Ninjachica wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 11:26 pm The ninja has 90°valves, but I keep forgetting to get them on the Fazer.
Much nicer to inflate the tires on Ms. Bonnie with angled valve stems. Typically I use a bicycle floor pump which has a fairly large head since it has both Schrader and Presta sizes.

Re: Who knew?
Checking the tyres on the car on Thursday, before packing for a race weekend at Brands, tyre pressures were good but as I took the airline off the last one, the valve came loose. It's been a long time since I had to fiddle about and it took ages to find the gadget to put it right.
Then it bothered me, so I took it to my tyre fitter and they put a new one in, just to be sure it didn't let me down.
Would probably have been perfectly O.K if I hadn't bothered to check. I just can't help myself. I have to do it once a week, just like the old days.
Pretty sure the Kawasaki has a slow puncture on the front. Probably needs a new valve fitted. The back had to have one as it was suffering from old age. Maybe I'll try to get that sorted this week.
