Only 24 days until the stay at home order ends.
Where will you go first?
I plan to head into the Peak District. I only do a bit of the main roads, mostly little back lanes. (I once found myself on a road that I thought must have been a pathway it was so narrow. Single width tunnel in the middle! I checked later, it was a road!)

Some great road in The Peak. Beauty for me is it's a great ride from my front door to the Peak then it gets better.
Have you been to Monsal Head, Great cafe, Hobbs Cafe, and spectacular views whilst eating ones bacon butty.

Funny thing...... Over on the FB site, Paul Spencer keeps saying about how everyone in the South seems to visit the PD and spoiling it all for everyone...... Reckons we are all Drug Takers and crap riders that keep killing ourselves all the time ! Been there a few times ( work related ) once on my bike when we met up at Matlock Bath. Nice roads and Views, will probably go again if I get the clearance from Paul..... !
Ok, I confess.......

Yes i do know him. Didn't meet him. Think he called himself Paul45 or something like that. I was a member of that forum, some proper weirdos on it.............not unlike MCN.
He was bossman, his site.

Re: Stay at home
Been to the MOT station already.
Had a ride out to Halfords last week.
Might have a bimble close to home this weekend.
(Hmmmm must check what date my insurance expires???)

Re: Stay at home
I'm not sure where to go first. I think I need a few long rides, but I don't think I'm well enough yet to start with a distance run.
I expect I'll aim for 100 miles first and go from there. I made sure the dreaded sat-nav was charged and updated this morning, and also the headset that I use with it. I like it to talk to me in my crash helmet so I don't need to look at the screen while I'm busy in traffic.
I hadn't managed to learn how to use the stupid thing properly so I suppose that will be something I need to get to grips with if I'm going to travel further afield this year.
Still looking out on eBay for the new style mount for the Kawasaki. Although I don't do long rides on it the sat nav's useful for finding places closer to home.
Can't wait to get started! Shopping trips are all very well but it will be so nice not to feel as if I'm cheating when I go out

Sat Nags and head set's the bane of my life. Still not sorted mine on the Wing, Never did sort it properly on the RT either. Sometimes i press enough buttons then it works for maybe a day, then it wont come through my helmet but will through the speakers on the bike, then no sound at all, driving me potty this tech. Ditto with the radio. I thank christ the visuals have always been there.
Why oh why soes it have to be so difficult in this day and age.
