Re: Out in a bit.......
Still blowing hard here, too. There's been one day out of the last four weeks when it dropped. That's the day the Kawasaki was in urgent need of exercise.
I tried my new home made ramp for getting in and out of the shed. It's amazing! I don't know why I never thought of it before. It was a small step up and not difficult to ride a bike up but it was always a bit nerve wracking, due to me needing to land in the perfect place, without hitting the other bike and with no room to ride in straight. I always have to start at an angle. Once in I can't push or pull, so it had to be right and on wet days the rear wheel caught on the metal step and slid sideways. Scary stuff.
If the wind drops at all and the sun stays out I think I should see what the Street Triple makes of it. It's lovely to be able to ride in fully under control, rather then launch over the step, while turning, and slam the brakes on in time. I'm too old to keep frightening myself

Re: Out in a bit.......
We have a stupid ridge outside our garage, to stop flood water getting in. It works perfectly, but is a nightmare when manhandling a bike!
I wish I could perfect the skill of pivoting on the side stand (there is room), then I could ride in and ride out

If it ain't fun, don't do it
