Ha... As predicted, the Rain came and never really let up so no bike ride... again...... I'm going to swap the bikes around in the Garage today so I can take the MT out as It's had all the bad weather chucked at it...... Good luck with the MOT.... watch out in the snow.Ninjachica wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 8:19 pm Snev, mine is due an MOT, so could do with a run out.
Looked at it properly today - it’s filthy!
Weather was ok today, but I was busy working. Snow tomorrow.
Wrap up while you speed around those lanes

I’m one of those people that book the MOT well in advance (it’s actually due in March).
I’ve been snowed on before when taking it!
It can stay in the garage- again
Maybe next week...

MoT due on my FJR last April but had the extension until October and it still hasn't moved out of the shed .
Might get round to it by this April .

Re: Hello Everyone....... !!!!!
I've had both bikes MOT'd during lockdowns. I found most workshops open, although I had to stand outside and wait. No going inside allowed and contactless payment in the car park.
The car passed again yesterday. That was dead easy. It was collected and delivered back. Full service, too, as it missed last years service completely.
I'll have to pay the bill for that today. Over the phone with a debit card. Then I'll probably cry for the rest of the day. The only good thing about lockdown is saving money on adventuring. I hate having to spend it on boring stuff.

I'm trying to beat the record , currently held by Nathan , on how long it takes to MoT a bike.
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

Has he got a job yet ? If he's sitting around all day then the weight gain and ailments are probably connected .
He may be slightly off his nut but probably needs a bit of social contact as well to keep his dander up .

When I met him, It was obvious that he wasn't quite right..... I think that Social Media is his outlet...... He set up a FB site last week, invited people there then deleted all the Posts !!!!CantCorner wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 12:32 pm Has he got a job yet ?
