Post by bobsnicholson »

After 2 cancellations and 1 postponement we have finally booked for Dubai.

leaving 25th Dec (yes i know, will explain in a bit) Back March 2nd.

Tickets were ONLY £4,640 Xmas eve would have been £7,011, 27th Dec would have been £8,034 how on earth do they arrive at these numbers?????

Anyway, will finally our little lad after more than a year. So looking forward to it.

Complimentary 19 test on arrival, result in 24 hours but still can go to wherever you are staying..

Well done.
You will have a wonderful time.

I presume you will need a covid test before you fly (that seems to be common on most airlines). Do check!

I need to do one before going back to Spain. Was looking yesterday. £135, but have to be careful on the timing.

No, no covid test to leave UK. They stopped it a few weeks ago.
However they do do a Covid test complimentary on arrival. 1 hour result but you can go on your way as soon as it's done. They will contact if positive to tell you to isolate wherever you may be.
Here's the horror we are going to see (as well as his parents of course)

See, you’ll have a brilliant time.

I’ve just booked Ryanair for Spain. Boots now do a covid test for flying so I’ve booked that too. £120.
I can live with that, because I had over £100 in Ryanair vouchers to redeem. Swings and roundabouts.

Ed is happy 😉
