My eye test.

Post by Beelady »

Big day! My first proper sight test since last December, just before I got sick.

After months of being told I'd never have sight in my right eye again, and slowly realising they were wrong, and putting in hours and hours and hours of effort to keep on improving, I can see just fine.

So fine that todays sight test showed no change from last year. Not even a little bit! What a result!!!

The eye is still uncomfortable but that's head and brain stuff, not anything to do with my sight. I'll take that :D

I just can't believe my luck. Tomorrow I'm going to start practicing getting my bike gear on and off without having to lie down for a rest. I can almost feel that Street Triple. Not long now :)

Good for you Emma, Looks like some nice weather from Wednesday, probably a bit colder but hopefully you'll at least have some dry roads.... take it steady.
Ok, I confess.......

Really high winds here at the moment, but the sun's out. I've taken the precaution of ordering a prescription from my surgery.
I think, with a bit of careful planning, I can make a round trip of many, many miles of essential travel once lockdown starts again :)

Excellent news on the eye sight Mrs. Bee .
Us lot over the border will be coming out of lockdown next week so come and get your free prescriptions here . I'm sure a nice round trip of 500 miles is essential when your on a bike .
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

I did 510 miles in one day on the G650 Xmoto and regretted it for the next several days.
