New bike......
New bike......
Pretty much made up my mind to trade the ZZR for this................ Then I'll be saving up for something secondhand to trade the MT09 for.........
Ok, I confess.......
Re: New bike......
That does look fun! Can you have a test ride, or have you snuck off and tried one already?
Re: New bike......
Took a testride a couple of years back, It was very nice, a bit dull compared to the MT but actually a better, smoother ride ...... It's got a few nice extras and It's got £1000 off as It's pre Registered...... i just can't get comfy on the ZZR anymore and It's starting to have some strange Traction Control Issues so my mind is made up.
Ok, I confess.......
Re: New bike......
Do it! Life's too short.
If you still find it a bit dull you can always let the tyres down a bit and enjoy some unpredictable handling

Re: New bike......
Lol...... i think I'll be able to liven it up a little with a bit of Fetlin........ Filter and ECU flash will be the next thing to look in to. reckon I know which other Bike i'll get..... BMWR1250 RS...... I look at it as a Retirement Bike/Long timer............ will be asking Bob for his opinion when he gets back.
Ok, I confess.......

Nice. The Fazer is paid for, so I keep looking!
No where to keep a third bike though at the moment

Re: New bike......
In a bit, I'm going to have to sell the ZR50's and the VFR400 as We are hoping to sell our business and they just won't fit in anywhere.............. Got to sell the FJ1200 too I think but no Fecker will want to pay what I want for it......... Looking at just having the two bikes after that.........
Ok, I confess.......

Re: New bike......
The new 1250 GS is without doubt a fantastic bike, deffo a keeper. Mostly my RT was a great bike.......BUT....and there is always a but, that pro shift gear box on mine was truly utter shite.
2 things i wanted when i decided to change, Auto due to the wrist and thumb joints being knackered therefore ridding of the clutch, and a reverse gear. The Wing fitted most of what i wanted and upto now not regretted it. Remember i have never ever test ridden a bike b4 i bought.
That Kwaka Z900 RS that i sold recently. I put every extra on it was i suppose a good bike, but not for me.
That THING in the 1st picture you are buying looks wicked, once again ok for a young fella like yourself but not for a fossil like me.........now.

Re: New bike......
Thanks mate, I'll look out for those Gearbox Issues....... I have just done a deal on the Z900 and I'm happy to trade the power for a better riding position and lighter weight..... I know I'll miss the Massive shove but it's about the only thing. Can't wait till Friday then I'll bore you all again with tales of the new one.
