Congratulations NC.
I've calculated based on the time we waited for our first grandchild that I will be 173 by the time I get to 5 :D

Congrats to the family and all that .
A grandson is statistically more likely to become a biker than a grand-daughter would , so no bad thing . :D
It wasn't my fault , I was left unsupervised !

Strangely, my son never really took to bikes.

Son & daughter both love cars.

Daughter though, used to ring me up at work, “are we going to [insert any bike meet] tonight?”

Plus, when I went to Ireland, she asked to come with me, even though she hadn’t been pillion since she married and moved to Germany.

And me! I have two brothers and although one also rides bikes I was the one hanging out with my Grandad, passing the spanners and being whizzed up and down the road sitting on the tank.

I do love that picture of you both. What wonderful memories that must bring back.

We had a wonderful time Bee.
It was only a long weekend, but lovely.

Dark Hedges
Giants Causeway
??? Rope bridge (nearly crapped myself- she was laughing)
Lovely pub/room

Then Dublin, followed by one of the wettest rides ever back from Hollyhead to York. So wet, I went the wrong (feckin) way on the M62 (I think), and ended up in Liverpool instead of heading to York 🤣🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

It was nearly as wet as Loomies.

She is also as good as me for minimal packing.

We once did Cornwall for 3 days. I told her, all our stuff had to fit in the topbox. No rucksacks.

Not a problem 😁👍

I missed the rope bridge when we were there last, or was it year before. So annoyed as I wanted to cross it so much. Such a wonderful country for touring and sightseeing.
Finding it hard to believe 2 lady's can pack efficiently?????? :D

My youngest is just about to do his direct access. He used to be a pizza delivery boy when he was still at school and has always loved bikes but never got round to doing his big bike test.
Maybe we can have a ride or two together, although I have a nasty feeling I should do the right thing and offer to give his ER5 back. I rather like that bike so I secretly hope he'll want something different. :)
