That Raab fella bloke clearly said you can go out for a drive/ride anywhere any distance as long as you follow the
social distance lark when you get to where you have gone. Simples. Now all we have to do is wait til the temp rises a few more degrees.
Ride safe the 3 of you And Bee get your mates to take you pillion to remind you and to give you reason to get better so you can ride again.

Re: Ride again
Essential prescription collection. On the back of a Yamaha Bulldog.
It's only a few miles up the road, but a girl needs an excuse to wear her new Rukka trousers out and about.
It was pretty comical to watch me getting aboard, I imagine. I'm still working hard to be as strong as I was before everything happened and I find it a struggle to get onto the back of bikes anyway, but Martin's a big, strong chap and we have a plan we use when I'm having a feeble day.
He sits on the bike and leans it right over, so I can get a leg across the seat, then I cling on like a limpet while he gets it upright. After that, between the two of us we can get my feet on the pegs and then we're away. So that's what we did.
It was wonderful! I didn't feel dizzy or get headachy at all. The sun was a bit bright for the damaged eye, but I SO enjoyed myself. I wanted to go on and on but poor Martin was aware that I probably shouldn't overdo it on a first outing and after a sedate few miles round some country lanes he bought me home.
Today I feel as if I've been steamrollered, but I can't wait for another opportunity. It was the best thing I've done for months!

Re: Ride again
I expected much heavier traffic up on the road today, but there wasn't really much more then usual. No extra bikes, although I could hear quite a few out in the evening, far away on the main road. It sounded fun

Re: Ride again
Out on the Wing for 5 n arf hours today around the Peak District. Car park for 30 cars at Monsal Head. i counted 27 bikes and 7 cars. The ride there and around traffic appeared to be "as normal". Everything appeared to be open. On the way back there was even a chippy open. Wish i had known that i wouldn't have taken buttys (sandwiches for you posh southerners)
The bike. I am struggling to find something wrong with it. Now i am used to it, to date i am liking it....a lot.
AND, how can anybody ride a bike that don't have a reverse
I can get a destination in the Sat Nav but don't know how to hear the bitch give me directions. After leaving Monsal Head she was talking to me (dont know how as there was no verbals getting there). Stopped for petrol, fired the bike up, put Nav back on, no verbals BUT the radio came on.....doing my head in.

Re: Ride again
HRH and I (well mostly me) have so much travelling planned when we are properly free again that we/I will hardly be home.
Hope I am when the Super Sausage happens.
Called in at Titesworth for a few mins walk yesterday. Lovely place. It was very busy.
