This is exactly what i was doing in the late 70s n 80s Then they were called "The Masafi", "The Dessert Challenge", "The International", etc etc.......................now we are going to have "The Dakar" in the region. Should be good. I will feel what they are going through having done it.

The Porsche one is when i was doing 286KPH with an Iranian sat beside me. Strange innit that it could be the Iranians that will stop the Dakar taking place in Saudi in 2020. Hope not.
