Pork Pies

Post by bobsnicholson »

The best Pork Pies we have had were bought in Ludlow.

So, today as the weather is said to be good i am going for a bike ride to Ludlow to buy a couple. Only 75 miles each way.

Are you around NC????? I am planning to be in The Transport Cafe by 10.30am ish. That's the one between The Raven and Ma Bakers on the A49 nr Whitchurch.

I did a home made pork pie earlier this year. It was a lot of work but everyone loved it! Wish I could buy one as good, but round here they're all mass produced and pretty tasteless.

Maybe I'm not riding far enough to seek out the best ones :)

The A49 from near me to Ludlow i think was made for a RTs. Bends, straights, duel carriageways. I think a great road. Bout 75 miles each way of superb riding in great weather.
A nice stick to the speed limit's ride there, back, well that's a different story, read hooligan granddad pensioner :D
And the reason for the ride is below (well one of 3)

That’s just an hour from me.
However, back to Spain on Friday. Hopefully get some sunshine this time.

Put the bike in the garage tonight, plugged it in, and wondered when I’ll next ride it... 😕
