There is a guy across the street from me who took delivery of a Triumph Tiger 1200 on March 1st.
It has done 17,340 miles since delivery, it has been parked outside every day in all weathers, no cover, he never puts security locks on of any type (not even the steering lock), he has never cleaned it or oiled the chain. He has had lot's of issues with it, BUT and here's the weird thing, he loves it...........go figure.

Re: Cleaning
I’ve just given my Rover25 it’s annual wash and vacuum. MOT due this week.
I do check oil and tyres regularly
It looks a pile of but just keeps going. 170,000kms so far, and I paid £2,500 for it, brand new!

Re: Cleaning
Some people are just not interested in the cleaning side of bikes and cars eh, especially older non classic cars and bikes.
I've been underneath the old E-Type cleaning it yet this guy buys a brand new bike and not interested in cleaning. I think he is just a lazy bastard. His missus does all the work, like mowing lawn n stuff.

Re: Cleaning
I am not washing my F 800 GT every time it gets dirty - that would be 3 to 6 times a week.
